i'm totally in love. i've never seen silk so thin and yet so strong, the lace (soft, not scratchy!) inserts look lovely and the small ouvert triangle at the small on the back, i just! can't say anything about the fit because i bought one size up (50% off :))! but the ouvert triangle let me just nip the waist elastic, and the extra silk skirtiness around my hips, the fabric is so airy that i don't even notice it. oh, and one very important thing - they never ever get into my buttcrack. i'd hate it, silk or not.
i planned to use them as day wear, so we discussed with layla the possibility of hand washing. i'm happy to report that the method we agreed on, worked perfectly - soak flat for 15 min in a delicates detergent, gently rinse, wring through a thick towel and lay flat to dry.
overall excellent, will watch discounts like a hawk (full price is unfortunately not for my budget) and buy stuff again. a+ aesthetics, a+ quality.
