New Look! Between the Sheets Website
We’re so excited to share our newly re-launched Between the Sheets website. The new look is an update we’ve been planning for some time – looking into things we liked and disliked about how sites operate on our phones and tablets, because let’s face it we’re all on-the-go a lot more than we used to be. We wanted a really simple layout with clear navigation that would work both on a small smartphone and a big screen (let’s just say most sites don’t take full advantage of my Imac’s screen real estate! But when they do I take notice!).
Last year we launched a mobile site, and while it bridged the gap in some ways we knew it wasn’t matching the full site’s experience – with a limited number of pages and navigation that didn’t let you shop via personality/activity or for gift certificates. We also know computers are getting bigger and badder screens so we wanted to take full advantage of those with images that could really wow. So here it is, in all of its glory a site that works on screens big and small! We’ll be adding more images to products that are launching in FW13 than before – with more product shots you’ll get an even better view of the designs before they come to your door!
Once we had the concept and some mock-ups we turned to Lauren Hills, who helped us integrate our first site with our shopping cart. Her knowledge of our back-end made full use of all of our site’s potential – adding even more images with a zoom that works on a desktop & on a touch screen, product reviews, and streamlining the checkout!
In addition to the new site we’ve also got some new arrivals now in store – you can pre-order Matchplay our new Core range (this means it will take the place of Well Played as our year-round lounge group) and we’ll be adding some gorgeous fashion colors in SS14. Also new to our Core intimates is Basic Play, which takes some of our best-selling styles from Airplay and puts them in the micromodal that our fans love from our Come Out & Play range.
