Erica x Cats Tarot & Lingerie

There is something about tarot cards, my cats cannot seem to leave me alone on the rare occasion that I pull out my deck they always make a bee-line for the spread! When Erica and I first discussed the shoot and she mentioned she’d like something that went with her personality I immediately thought of a moody theme with cats tarot, & cats as the “familiar”, like a totem in the background. I love how this shoot turned out and I am not surprised that our tuxedo cat Steven Mars showed up in more photos than our kitten because when he first came in the room she excitedly exclaimed that she always had a fondness for black and white cats, and like clockwork he jumped up onto the stool next to her and into 95% of the shots. Isn’t it funny how cats have a way of sensing your acceptance, they pick up on feelings without words.

most creative cat name:

My old college roommate gave her cats some really creative names. The best one was Ophelia Flower, who she also nicknamed Ophis McGrofis (creative, indeed)

greatest cat moment you’ve witnessed

The moment that my ex-boyfriend’s cats, who were always so scared of everyone, approached me and let me pet them. I still miss those babies so much.

fluffy or short hair or other?

All cats are adorable! Though short-haired ones are easier to brush.

Good horror movies… and heavy metal.

Into the Woods we went, shot on location in Woodstock NY our Holiday lookbook is about the romance of getting away & lazy holidays spent Between the Sheets.

The leaves were at peak color in the Hudson Valley and Catskills when we shot this lookbook in Woodstock, NY. Finding inspiration away from the hustle and bustle of NYC, our newest lookbook shot during peak of fall foliage in a modern cabin with a woodstove, the ideal little spot to capture the magical holiday mood. Legwear – New at Between the Sheets

We’ve always gotten a lot of interest in the items we style into our photoshoots, so finding the perfect playful legwear to complement our lingerie and loungewear collections was on top of our pre-fall to-do list and happy to announce we’ve just gotten our first shipment from Tabbisocks, we are absolutely in love their unique pointelle over the knee socks, stylish jacquard tights, and cozy slouchy socks! Their craftsmanship will meet and exceed your expectations, Made in Japan their innovative products are going to be a new fan favorite here at Between the Sheets.

Pointelle over-the-knee socks in ivory, heather grey, coral, and black

Lacy patterns with a handmade crotchet feel, their solid reinforced toe/heel are the perfect fit. They work as a knee high on curvier legs.

luxury knit leg warmers in white, peony pink, heather grey, charcoal

Layered with tights for added warmth, these leg warmers are perfect underneath boots and reach from heel to thigh when stretch fully. We like them worn scrunchy too for that could’ve been a ballerina look!

Slouchy over the knee socks in ivory, mint, heather grey

Call them Schoolgirl socks, scrunchy socks, or slouchy socks, but these babies right here are basically lounge heaven. These socks are so comfortable, soft and scrunchy that you won’t want to take them off. We like them paired with lounge shorts, and they are breathable and soft enough that you’ll want to wear them in the warmer months too.
