There are very few people with a love for vintage and lingerie that rival my own, but this year I have had the pleasure and the opportunity to chat with one lingerie & vintage lover who delivers and dishes on these topics daily over on her blog, A Slip of a Girl!

My sister, an international corporate attorney who travels a lot, needs something to keep her warm in the cold, impersonal, hotels.  I want her to feel feminine and relaxed, yet still able to move (I know she works on that laptop right up until she sleeps!), so I’d get her the Well Played Lounge Cardigan in Shade.  The color is soothing, yet fashionable.  The fabric makes it less bulky than those hotel robes (easy to type in — and easy to pack).  And I bet she’d be grateful to wear it on those long flights too.

For my other sister – Playdate lounge pant in Shade
My other sister has several little ones and so has discovered, as most of we moms have, the joys of having to get up in the middle of the night, early in the morning etc.  She, like me, hates to sleep in pajama bottoms or long nightgowns but then fears being inappropriately dressed… So the Playdate Lounge Pant in Shade would be a good thing to have at the end of the bed, ready for any and all emergencies — including pancake making after a night of little sleep. Kind of like a robe for your legs *wink*  I again opt for the shade of Shade because it’s pretty — and practical. Neither too dark or too light in terms of stains; and it’s neutral enough to go with most of her maternal sleepwear.

For my cousin – Playdate babydoll in Shade
My cousin was recently divorced and can use a little pick-me-up — one that reminds her that she’s sexy — but still does not pressure her. (It is too soon, no matter what my aunt thinks; grandbabies will have to wait a bit longer.) The Playdate Babydoll in Shade is pretty enough for comfortable nights alone — and yet sexy enough for when things change and company stops by. *wink*  (I’m absolutely in love with this color – can you tell?)

For my daughter – Come Out & Play bralette, cami, and bikini in Midnight/Dawn
My 14 year old daughter is incredibly modest, yet she must deal with the high school locker room and slumber parties with girls who are far more into shall we say less than modest attire? She gets the Come Out & Play Triangle Bralette, Cami and Bikini.  All in Midnight & Dawn.
