One of the best parts of being a boutique lingerie designer is the amazing places you get to go and see as part of promoting your brand. When Robin invited us to do a trunk show at Lilibea’s in West Reading we were excited to stop by and meet her customers and see this little slice of heaven in the Pennsylvania landscape. Mesmerized by the nature along the ride (when cooped up in the jungle of Manhattan it’s easy to forget the beauty of a scenic drive) we arrived in the charming town of West Reading, where proprietress Robin and her husband Dan have made an intimate oasis a home to some beautiful lingerie! We came on the day of the Fall Festival, so the crowds were out in force. Robin had also come up with a way to raise money and donations by having a BBQ and Bra trade in to benefit women of the Recovery workshop which helps women by providing the basic essentials they need to help them get and keep jobs, and women were lined up around the block for bra fittings and to help the cause!
Needless to say it was one of those Indian Summer days, which was perfect for the outdoor festivities and a lovely dinner on the deck in front of the shop with one of the most amazing meals we have had anywhere, provided by the brasserie Papillon located right next door!

The main street is lined with houses that have been converted into shops, it lends a warm feeling you can never get from a strip mall or mall of any sort. Even more interesting was that while we were there a gentleman whose grandparents had lived in her shop stopped in to say hello!!

Festival goers lined up for the BBQ to benefit Recovery workshop!

Between the Sheets Collection sunning on the porch, and no one could keep their hands off it as they walked in everyone kept exclaiming “how amazing! how soft!”

The busy shop! Filled with brands like Blush, Daddy’s Favorite, and of Course Between the Sheets Collection!

Our designer Layla far right with proprietress Robin center, after a busy day of fittings and greetings!

The Papillon brasseriere right next door. We joked that they needed a sign that said <- brasserie * bras here ->

Papillon Brasserie proudly serves farm to table fresh produce and food everyday! Here is a heirloom tomatoe salad with fresh bread, and yes those are the most gorgeous green heirloom tomatoes!!

A specialty at Papillon is this chocolate butterfly dressed chocolate souffle… yes it was as good as it looks!

If only this were how we ended every meal and day!
If you’re ever driving through Pennsylvania, or you live nearby, you HAVE TO stop by and visit this brasserie AND this bra fitting and lingerie establishment! Find them here:
